Český Krumlov is easy to love, hard to leave. You must arrive before 8pm, so that you can make the most of what this town has to offer.

There are three shuttle bus companies that we recommend. Book a door-to-door shuttle bus from Linz, Austria or Vienna, Austria from CKShuttle . Or if you’d like a discounted shuttle with specific drop off points, try Bean Shuttle.
Take the new, non-stop, air-conditioned Student Agency bus (3 hours – 200 CZK – WC, movie, drinks, and daily newspapers included) from Prague’s Na Knížeci bus station (metro: Anděl) to Český Krumlov’s main bus station — autobusové nádraží ( Student Agency calls this “AN”). Buses leave every 1-2 hours, daily from 7 am to 9 pm. Seat reservations are necessary. You don’t need a paper ticket, but you will need to record your reservation and seat number.

The train from Prague is an exercise in patience and will take you 4+ hours with a transfer in České Budějovice and it costs about 250 CZK (less if you’re travelling with 2 or more people). Click here for train connections.
All trains to Český Krumlov go through České Budějovice. We highly recommend taking a bus from České Budějovice to Český Krumlov‘s main bus station, autobusové nádraží, a ten-minute walk to our door. From Český Krumlov’s train station, vlakové nádraží, take a scenic walk downhill into town (35 minutes to our door). Or take a taxi (100-125 CZK – 5 EUR per car).
