What is the history of Krumlov House?
Our hostel is made of two connected houses, one older than the other. The oldest house, from the mid 1700s, stands on the street corner, next to an old Rožmberk road marker (1651). Next door, where our main entrance is, was the town bakery in the early 20th century. It soon fell into disrepair and a number of families came and went. Then, in 1996, Cal and Carolyn Zukowski thought it would be a good idea to open a hostel there. Here's the story of how they started.
