Lose yourself!

River rafting

From May 1st to the end of October, you can paddle the Vltava. Choose a number of different trips, from 1.5 hours to an all-day adventure. Wet bags, life vests, and instructions provided. Boat bars and sausage stands line the Vltava; don't get too drunk or you'll miss your ride back to town! More info at malacek.cz/en.

Hike to Klet’

Daily. Free! It's a lovely hike through the forest and you will be rewarded by a beer and some good home cooking at the top of the mountain. On clear days you can see the Alps from the observation deck. More info at klet.com.

Castle Tower

Open Tuesday through Sunday from 9.00 AM to 4.00 PM. The museum next to the tower holds great artifacts from the private castle collections. Tower: 100,- CZK per person.  Museum: 100,- CZK per person. More info at zamek-ceskykrumlov.cz.

Escape Room!

Český Krumlov Museums

There's something here for everyone, whether it's modern Czech and European art (Egon Shiele Museum), photography (Seidel Museum or Saudek Museum), Czech local history and culture (Regional Museum), Fairy Tale and Marionettes (The Fairy Tale Museum), Rocks & Minerals (Moldavite Museum), Torture and Gore (Museum of Torture) or lifelike wax body-doubles (The Wax Museum). Hot chocolate & live music

Our neighborhood cafe serves the best hot chocolate in Český Krumlov, and you should try it with a piece of honey cake, "medovnik," to round off the experience. Excellent local and international bands play here on the weekends. More info on their Facebook page.

Tea House & Shisha

A great place to unwind after touring the town. Open daily 4pm to 10pm, this is a mecca for those who love beautiful music, and an alcohol- and cigarette-free environment.
